Harley's Halloween

Of course, it wouldn't be Halloween unless Aaron went as a pirate (Captain Hook in particular, in this instance) with Harley in tow, of course!  The kids at the children's hospital where he worked were enthralled, so much so that the sight of a child's HUGE eyes as he looked at Harley and then a cut to Harley on Dad's shoulder were the closing images on the evening news!  And Harley and Dad and fellow worker Al won first place in the contest.  Harley was very well behaved and "performed" wonderfully, really turning "on" in the presence of the children and saying "Hi" and "Hello" along with other phrases, including her pirate "Arrrrrrgh!".  I am so proud of them.  I think Harley was proud, too, because when they took their little victory parade walk around the rotunda, she stood very tall on Dad's shoulder, wings slightly outstretched, pinned her eyes and squealed with delight.  :)
